Introduction
In recent weeks, a striking energetic pattern has emerged in my clinical and intuitive practice: multiple women presenting with complete chakra lockdown. This is not the common sluggishness or emotional congestion many people carry, but a full-system freeze affecting the Earth Star, all seven primary chakras, and the Soul Star. The pattern is precise, repeatable, and—crucially—collective.
As both a medical practitioner and an intuitive healer, I am documenting this emerging phenomenon to bring clarity to an escalating issue in the feminine field. What I observed in three separate women, each on the same day and with no connection to one another, indicates a larger energetic wave moving through the collective.
What is Full-System Chakra Lockdown?
A full-system freeze presents as:
Earth Star: inactive, unresponsive, no grounding dynamic
Root to Crown: unmoving, silent, withdrawn
Soul Star: disconnected, unlit, sealed
Aura: flattened or collapsed inwards
Nervous System: in dorsal-parasympathetic freeze (shutdown response)
This is not depression or simple burnout. It is a whole-system protective mechanism; the energetic equivalent of the body curling into a ball to survive.
Why the Solar Plexus Collapses First
Among all chakras, the Solar Plexus governs the greatest range of physiological and energetic functions. It influences:
the gut–brain axis
digestion and assimilation
liver, pancreas, adrenal regulation
boundaries
will and personal power
identity, autonomy, direction
In states of overwhelm, fear, pressure, and emotional overload, the Solar Plexus is the first centre to implode. When it collapses, it pulls the entire Chakra column with it, much like a star folding inward during gravitational overload.
Reopening the Solar Plexus becomes the pivotal step. Without it, the system cannot re-engage, reconnect, or climb out of freeze.
Why Women are Affected First
This wave strongly targets the feminine energetic architecture. Women process emotional and collective tension through:
hormonal cycles
relational fields
intuitive sensitivity
ancestral memories
social and maternal expectations
the psychic responsibility of caretaking others
Men respond to overload differently, often through mental dissociation or emotional numbing. Women absorb; men deflect. In collective compression, women reach freeze first.
Collective Triggers Behind the Feminine Shutdown
The cause of this pattern is not individual but environmental and collective. Key contributing factors include:
global instability and heightened fear
solar storms and geomagnetic stress
emotional overload in the collective psyche
information saturation and psychic noise
economic tension and survival concerns
collapse of social structures and support systems
ancestral trauma resurfacing for resolution
The feminine field has become the buffer for humanity’s emotional backlog, leading to widespread energetic collapse.
Case Report: Three Women, One Pattern
In the same month of November 2025, three unrelated women presented with identical energetic architecture:
full freeze from Earth Star to Soul Star
imploded Solar Plexus
diminished will and emotional exhaustion
a sense of being overwhelmed, directionless, or depleted
Despite different life stories, each carried the same imprint of collective pressure. In all three cases, the Solar Plexus was the centre demanding immediate intervention.
Intervention: Why the Solar Plexus Was Reopened First
Reactivating the Solar Plexus initiated:
return of breath and energetic flow
reconnection of the vertical line (Earth Star ↔ Soul Star)
release of tension in the gut and diaphragm
restoration of personal agency and inner stability
Opening any other Chakra first would have been ineffective or destabilising. The Solar Plexus is the command centre in full-system freeze.
Implications for Healers
Based on this emerging pattern, healers should be aware:
More women will present with full-system lockdown.
The Solar Plexus must often be addressed first.
Grounding techniques may fail until the Solar Plexus reopens.
Crown or heart work may overwhelm a frozen system.
Emotional containment and safety must be established before energetic reopening.
Healers may find themselves acting as stabilising nodes for the collective feminine field.
Implications for Humanity
This pattern reflects deeper shifts in consciousness. The feminine is reaching its threshold for emotional labour, generational trauma, and societal expectations. The Solar Plexus collapse signals the end of the era in which women silently carry the weight of the world.
A new phase is emerging—one that demands boundaries, balance, and restoration.
Conclusion
The phenomenon of Solar Plexus collapse in women is not isolated. It is a collective response to overwhelming emotional, psychic, and societal pressures. Documenting these cases helps illuminate a larger process unfolding within the human field—one that calls healers to recognise the signs and support the feminine through this transition.
Further study, documentation, and dialogue will be essential as this wave continues to unfold.
I hope you feel inspired. Look after your body, and it will keep you healthy.

The Seeing Hands: A Journey from Coma to Consciousness
Most people think a coma is like being asleep: dark, silent, empty and yet aware of your surrounding and what was going on around you. But for me, it was the complete opposite. It was the moment everything opened. Not my eyes, but my awareness. At just 7 years old, after a serious post-operative complication, I slipped into a coma that would reshape the rest of my life.
When I woke up, I was not the same little girl.
I had been “somewhere else” – a place without form, without walls, and yet full of presence. I remember it as a soft hum of connection. Of being held in something vaster than the body. And when I returned, it was like someone had turned on an extra sense. Except… it didn’t come through sight. It came through touch.
Please don’t misunderstand me, I never lost the sight in my eyes.
Learning to See – Without My Eyes
In the early days of recovery, something strange began happening. When I touched things or even hovered my hands over people – I felt information. Not just warmth or sensation, but layers. Emotions. Density. Flow. Blockages. Like rivers, jagged stones, or bright currents, moving beneath the skin.
My hands began to see.
Of course, try telling an adult that when you’re 7 and they’ll likely smile, pat your head, and offer you a biscuit.
By nine, I saw energy itself—colours spiralling through the body like living light, the true faces of the chakras (but I didn’t know then that they were called chakras).
We hear often how children and in rare cases some adults, see auras around people. Children believe everyone can, until told differently. I was no different.
But I knew this was real. And, as it turned out, so did someone else.
The Doctor Who Didn’t Laugh
My step-father was an Internist – a logical man, medically trained. But he was also a Reiki Master. Which meant he straddled two worlds: the clinical, and the subtle. When I was 15, his patients with back trouble started showing up at the house. He sent them in with a wink.
“Go on Cathy, take a look at them.”
I would hover my palms and know instantly where the problem was.
Not a guess. Not a hunch. A knowing.
He trusted it. And so did I.
That same year, he attuned me to Reiki Level 1. Not because I wanted to learn how to heal. But because he recognised that I already was a healer and just needed the keys to the temple I’d already been walking through in the dark.
Seeing Chakras… Differently
Here’s where it gets weird (or wonderful, depending on who’s reading).
At age 9, I began seeing (eyes & hands) chakras—and not the way they’re drawn in books. Not perfect spinning wheels with rainbow colours and petal counts. What I saw was alive. More like watery, pulsing orbs of frequency. Shape-shifting, responsive, and personal. They all have “funnels” adhered to them. The larger ones are to our back and front, one large one pointing towards our head and one towards our feet. In between, there are loads of smaller funnels and they have something, like “strings” connected to them. More about this later.
Some were dim, others bright. Some spun fast, some barely moved.
Later on, I’d find the books, the diagrams, the Sanskrit labels… but none of them matched what I had learned through my hands. The body does not lie. The energy system does not lie. And intuition does not wait for a textbook.
The Turning Point or The Path Wasn’t Learned — It Was Always There
That coma did not interrupt my life. It began it.
It taught me that consciousness isn’t confined to the brain. That healing isn’t only a profession; it’s a memory. I didn’t choose this path. It unfolded through me long before I understood it.
The coma also taught me that consciousness is not confined to eyes or words and that it moves through every cell.
Today, when I work as a medical intuitive, I still “see” with my hands. My hands became translators of that knowing. They felt, listened, and eventually saw. Healing ceased to be observation and became communication, a dialogue between the seen and unseen, between matter and memory.
I still trust the quiet information that rises through the palms. And I help others reconnect to their own layers of knowing too, because we all have it. We all are it.
Some of us just get thrown into the deep end a bit earlier.
If You’ve Ever Felt More Than You Could Explain… You’re Not Imagining It
Intuition doesn’t whisper in logic – it speaks in sensation. In resonance. In the things we feel before we understand.
The body is not just a vessel. It’s a tuning fork.
And when we learn how to listen with more than our eyes — healing becomes not just possible, but inevitable.
The Science of Sensory Substitution
Modern neuroscience calls this neuroplasticity—the brain’s ability to re-map itself.
Fingertips contain more sensory neurons than any other part of the body.
In those who lose sight, the visual cortex can awaken to touch and sound.
Proprioception and vibration sensitivity sharpen with attention.
In essence, the hands truly can “see.” They translate texture, heat, and electromagnetic change into imagery the mind recognises.
The Subtle Layer — Energy Perception
Beyond the physical nerves lies another spectrum of perception. Every cell emits frequency; every emotion alters the field around it.
When awareness is trained, the hands register these resonances—the difference between calm and chaos, truth and distortion. What science measures as microcurrent, healers feel as life-force.
New Skills – Old Technique
In 2014 I was hospitalised for 3 days. Back in 2013/14 there had been much talk about the Third Eye … how you can switch it off and turn it back on, like a light switch.
I’m in hospital. The lady in the bed next to me, with curtains drawn around her, was pulling my energy. I was too weak to resist her. I then remembered “the flipping of the switch” and so I did.
A mistake I had to learn with to this day.
However, when a seeing person looses their eye-sight, they are taught to “see” and “read” with their hands.
I was discharged from hospital the day before Good Friday. By Easter Sunday I realised, I could not see a person’s chakras. What had happened? “The Light Switch”! Since then I am working on re-opening my Third Eye. But, and here’s the kicker:
I have, since aged 8 (taught to me by my Great-grandmother) always used my pendulum. My Trusted Friend (some people hear me make reference to my pendulum this way).
Translating Touch with the Pendulum
Intuition doesn’t whisper in logic, it speaks in sensation. In resonance. In the things we feel before we understand.
The body is not just a vessel. It’s a tuning fork.
Over time I introduced a bridge: the pendulum. Its swing turns micro-responses of muscle and energy into visible motion. The pendulum doesn’t decide; it amplifies—translating what the body already knows and allowing intuition and logic to converse in harmony.
And when we learn how to listen with more than our eyes — healing becomes not just possible, but inevitable.
Practice for Readers — Awaken the Hand-Senses
Rub your palms together until warmth arises.
Hold them a few centimeters apart; sense the subtle magnetism.
Move them slowly toward a plant, crystal, or another person’s hand.
Observe texture, density, warmth, or coolness.
Journal each session for seven days. Note how your language of feeling evolves.
You are retraining the body’s oldest instrument: feeling as knowing.
Bridging Science and Spirit
Science explains the wiring; spirituality explains the meaning. Together they reveal a complete anatomy of awareness.
In holistic medicine, data and divinity are not rivals; they’re dialects of the same truth: the body is conscious, and consciousness is the physician within.
Closing Reflection
The body never loses its ability to see. When one doorway closes, awareness finds another.
To feel is to witness creation in motion. One pulse, one breath, one infinite conversation through the hands of humankind.
I hope you feel inspired. Look after your body, and it will keep you healthy.

In today’s article, I wish to help merge some of the “alternative” healing concepts. Many know yoga, prana, chakras, meridians, reiki …. But for many, especially those who learnt these modalities online and during the lockdown phase, cannot connect the dots.
I have a hunger for knowledge on chakras since my early teens. While some could see auras, I could see chakras. This changed in 2014, when I was hospitalised … and the lady in bed next to me, was gravely ill, I decided to “temporarily” close my abilities. When I was home, I’d just flick that switch. Right? Wrong! But that is a whole other story I may one day blog about.
So, over the years I learnt various other modalities, in the hope, one day I will reverse that “flicked switch”; from Reiki (I kinda grew up with – family), to Faith Healing, to Acupressure and Meridians, to Cosmic Healing, to Pendulum Healing, so many more modalities and still learning. But no matter what I study, I always try to find that connection with the Chakras – my passion. With studying and maturity, one starts to “connect the dots” (well hopefully that is the case for us all).
In the world of Chakra, which I know most of you are familiar with now, imagine we place the 7 main chakras of the human into three conscious categories: Upper, Middle and Lower or the Three Tan Tiens.
ROOT ORGANS: Reproductive Systems (male and female) SACRAL ORGANS: Bladder, Large Intestine, Bottom part of Kidneys SP ORGANS: Kidneys upper, Adrenal Glands, Small and Large Intestine, Spleen, Pancreas, Liver, Gallbladder and Stomach HEART ORGANS: Heart, Lungs and Thymus Gland THROAT ORGANS: Thyroid, Vocal Cords, Trachea and Oesophagus, Mouth, Ears and Lower Sinuses 3rd Eye ORGANS: Eyes, upper Sinuses. CROWN ORGANS: Our physical Brains, Left, Right, Central, Frontal Lobes
Our organs communicate with each other and with our Energy Centers or Chakras and higher. The arrows represent Meridians. Two Meridians I have not shown here, are the Governing and Conception or Functional Meridians.
WHAT ARE MERIDIANS? Meridians are invisible pathways that connect various organs and systems within the body. According to TCM, there are 12 primary meridians, each associated with a specific organ and its corresponding functions.
TAN TIEN CONSCIOUSNESS There is a long-standing Taoist practice of cultivating and training consciousness in the Three Tan Tiens, especially the Lower Tan Tien. The consciousness of each Tan Tien is named after its unique focus: The Upper Tan Tien corresponds to the upper or observing mind. The Middle Tan Tien corresponds to the conscious mind of the heart. The Lower Tan Tien corresponds to the feeling and awareness mind. The concept of having multiple brains in the body may seem incredible or farfetched to some. However, my own experience while participating in scientific research as well as information revealed through recent scientific studies combine to make this aspect of Cosmic Healing plausible, accessible, and practical (Grandmaster Mantak Chia).
TAN TIEN ENERGY Energy in the body can be generated, stored, and transformed by the brain, the sexual organs, and other body organs. However, each of these energy processors is limited in function in some way. The brain, for example, can access and generate energy, but storing energy in the brain is not easy. In the Taoist system, we learn to train the brain to increase its ability and capacity to store energy. The brain energy, when increased to a certain level, can enable more synapses to grow in the central nervous system and can help turn protein into brain and nerve cells. The organs of the body have a greater capacity than the brain for storing and transforming energy, but their ability to generate energy is limited. The sexual organs, on the other hand, can generate a significant amount of sexual energy (life force). However, the sexual organs cannot store the energy efficiently. When they generate too much energy, considerable amounts have to be discarded. It is like preparing food for one hundred people when only one person is eating. And this “creative” food is the best energy a human has. As reservoirs of energy in the body, the Tan Tiens bring balance to the body’s energy cycle. There are three: the Upper Tan Tien, the Middle Tan Tien, and the Lower Tan Tien. Each Tan Tien is a place where we can store, transform, and collect energy. The Three Tan Tiens feed energy to the meridians, the rivers of energy that flow through the body. The Middle Tan Tien, also known as the Heart Center Tan Tien, is located between the two nipples. It is associated with the fire element. Yet within fire there is always water. The original spirit (Shen) is stored here. The Lower Tan Tien is in the lower abdomen, at the navel. It is like an empty universe or ocean, and we want to feel a universe of energy here. Within this universe or ocean, there is fire under water, like a volcano under the ocean. The aim of Taoist basic training is to integrate the brain, the sexual organs, the other organs of the body, and the Three Tan Tiens into one system. If the brain generates too much energy, it can store the energy in the organs. If the sexual organs generate excess sexual energy, it can be stored in the organs and the Three Tan Tiens. Without this integration, we waste energy at an alarming rate. Energy is like money. If you make a million dollars a year and spend a million dollars a year, you have nothing left to use in the future. This is the way we live and use energy in our society. We are spending more energy than we are saving, and we are living on borrowed energy, paying very high interest. Our credit will run out very soon. Some healing practices deal only with the spirit and ignore the body and sexual energy. These practices can generate a lot of energy, but if the practitioner is not connected to the organs, that energy cannot be stored anywhere and is lost. Some people practice meditation by sitting quietly, emptying the mind, and relaxing the whole body. However, very little energy is actually generated in this type of practice. Some who get deep into this type of practice find it hard to come back to society, because they have no energy and their mind power does not work well. These people have to depend on others to support them.
THREE MINDS INTO ONE: YI POWER 1. Smile into your heart. Make it feel soft. Make it feel love, joy, happiness, and compassion. Feel the heart energy spiral, 2. Spiral the energy in the upper mind. Lower your upper mind down to the Lower Tan Tien in your navel area. 3. Turn the consciousness in your heart, activated by your love and softness, down to the Lower Tan Tien. 4. With the feeling and awareness mind, spiral together the energy of the three minds, blending them together as one in the Lower Tan Tien.
As you can see, everything is connected. Everything modality has a commonality. All four corners of this planet Earth, learnt the same things at the same time, but interpreted it differently.
Once Humanity understands we are all One and the same, with tons of abilities within us waiting to be tapped in to, then, and only then will this world become a better place. I am ready for divine, positive changes to come in. Are you?
We are the World. Give in your heart and you will see that someone cares ‘Cause you know that they can feed them all Then I read the paper and it said that you’ve been denied And it shows the second we will call
We are the world We are the children We are the ones who make a brighter day So let’s start giving There’s a chance we’re taking We’re taking our own lives It’s true we’ll make a brighter day Just you and me
Now there’s a time when we must love them all And it seems that life, it don’t make love at all But if you’d been there, and I’ll love you more and more It seems in life, I didn’t do that … Michael Jackson

Today I want to share my April 2020 article again. I feel some things have changed since, but only superficially. I sense a lot of resentment and anger still in people.
“There is a time when we should hear the certain calls ‘Cause the world it seems it’s right in this line ‘Cause there’s a chance for taking in needing our own lives It seems we need nothing at all I used to feel I should give away my heart And it shows that fear of needing them Then I read the headlines and it said they’re dying there And it shows that we must heed instead” Michael Jackson
The veil is rapidly thinning. I also feel the “last of the sleepers” are going to experience a rude awakening. They shall have questions and a great sense of feeling overwhelmed by the Truth.
Many Starseeds and Lightworkers have been preparing for this moment since the start of the infamous lockdown of 2020/21. We are now sitting patiently for this nefarious bubble burst. It is not going to be nice. And yet, united we have become so strong, as One, we shall defeat the poisons out there. As One we help those lost, unite with us. As One, we Heal the World, because WE ARE THE WORLD
“We are the world We are the children We are the ones who make a brighter day So let’s start giving There’s a chance we’re taking We’re taking our own lives It’s true we’ll make a brighter day Just you and me“ Michael Jackson

Hello and thank you for joining me here today.
My name is Catherine Dunne. I am a Nurse, Holistic Practitioner, Energy and Intuitive Healer, Spiritualist and Teacher. I am also the Author of the last two Reiki Attunements from the Reiki Grandmaster Series, called Forgiveness and Gratitude.
Thanks to the current “lockdown” I have found time to watch all those things, I normally struggle to watch. I’ve been watching OUT OF SHADOWS OFFICIAL (by the same name). I’ve also been watching Laura Eisenhower, Magenta Pixie, and Edge of Wonder, to name a few.
I am also a fan of Magenta Pixie, and I am sure, many of you are following her, too. Her books are a conversation with the “Nine”. Four days ago, she made this video Three Step Process to Stargate Ascension in Lockdown (Full Monadic Download)),which I ended up watching twice, as it stirred something within me.
Magenta speaks of Ho’oponopono, Fear, Emotional Integration, Declaration of Sovereignty and Forgiveness and Gratitude. The steps Magenta speaks of are:
THREE STEPS
STEP ONE
Understanding the dark plan – Feel the fear and integrate the Emotion(s)
STEP TWO
Declaration of Sovereignty ; laying down your boundaries
With step 3, you are turning around the negative effects from step 2, making them positive and so laying down a new contract to the universe.
STEP THREE
Forgiveness and Gratitude to be sent out to the Being of the Cosmic Universe.
Lets see, what this means:
Ignorance or “being ignorant” means Your response due to lack of knowledge/understanding. So, we learn of a virus, and it is highly contagious but fail to understand why so many people are dying.
Fear. To witness the spreading of and over many countries seemingly simultaneously … like a tsunami rolling in from the sea and you are helpless. Three Step Process to Stargate Ascension in Lockdown (Full Monadic Download)
Anger. You are ordered to stay at home. You are being told, you are not an “essential worker”. You are told, you cannot visit family and friends. A close person to you is dying. You are told to keep away. You witness, despite restrictions in place, how many are ignoring them, placing you and your loved ones at great risk, perhaps. Your Anger, because you are also running out of things to do: i.e. home painting and decorations, DIY projects and so forth leads you to become frustrated.
Frustration leads to Resentfulness, Desperation and Depression. Even paranoia.
All of those attributes are very negative. It also seems you cannot “run away” from this either. The “news” of increasing numbers of infected cases; increasing numbers of death by virus, is in your face all day long. You wake in the morning, turn on the radio you’re listening to it…. You turn on the TV and you are seeing it, you cannot buy the newspaper, so you resort to internet newspapers and those are usually just headline chasers, but you are now reading the words. There is no escaping it. Or is there? This constant bullying with slow drip fear feeding, eats away on our very substance, our essence, the person you were born to be. They, the Darkworkers are nearly having you where they want you to be, on your knees. This has to stop. This is emotional rape, I think. The human is a mammal and like all animals, we need social connectiveness.
“I used to feel, I should give away my heart And it shows that we are needing in there Then I read the headlines And it said they’re dying there And it showed that we was heeding a stand“ Michael Jackson
So STEP ONE
Understanding the dark plan – Feel the fear and integrate the Emotion(s). How do you integrate emotions? Feel them, meditate on them and release the negative energy. After this is done, you move on to
STEP TWO
Declaration of Sovereignty; laying down your boundaries. (For a better understanding best go to YouTube and watch Laura Eisenhower’s Message to the Dark Controllers).
How? Verbalise or write down for yourself or to the public that you have never given permission to be broken like a wild horse. You’ve never given, nor will you give permission to let Fear into your life. You do not Consent for the Darkworkers to take control over your life. Once you have this achieved you move to
STEP THREE
Forgiveness and Gratitude to be sent out to the Being of the Cosmic Universe.
“Now there’s a time when we must love at all And it seems that life, it don’t make love at all But everyday and I love you more and more It’s she and I, didn’t do it better.” Michael Jackson
“There’s a chance we’re taking We’re taking our whole lives It’s true, we’ll make a brighter day Just you and me.” Michael Jackson
2016/17 I studied Ho’oponopono. What is Ho’oponopono?
Ho‘oponopono, the Hawaiian forgiveness process, allows us to cut the aka connection. This means essentially clearing out preconceptions in how we view others. It helps create new connections and rejuvenate relationships with the help of Divinity. The word “forgive” means to wipe the slate clean, to pardon, to cancel a debt. When we wrong someone, we seek his or her forgiveness in order for the relationship to be restored. It is important to remember that forgiveness is not granted because a person deserves to be forgiven. Instead, it is an act of love, mercy, and grace.
FORGIVENESS
To quote Thomas Szasz:
“The stupid neither forgive nor forget; the naïve forgive and forget; the wise forgive but do not forget.”
To quote me from the RGM Series Level 19 = Dai Yōsha = Great Forgiveness
“Forgiving others comes later. First you must forgive yourself. This requires taking responsibility for your own learning process, and having the courage to sweat!”
To quote me from the RGM Series Level 20 = Dai Kansha = Great Appreciation = Gratitude
Online definition:
“Gratitude means thanks and appreciation. … Gratitude, which rhymes with “attitude,” comes from the Latin word gratus, which means “thankful, pleasing.” When you feel gratitude, you’re pleased by what someone did for you and, also pleased by the results. “
My definition:
“When we have learnt to practice Forgiveness, what follows, is a moment of nothingness, quietness and after a while of zero state, the Divine talks to you in form of inspiration. But before this can happen, we go through a phase of feeling lighter, elated, thankful. A weight has been lifted. Because you were able to let go, you have made room for something new, like hope, love, happiness, appreciation or gratitude to fill the void.”
(CWD 2017)
“We are the world We are the children We are the ones who make a brighter day So let’s start giving There’s a chance we’re taking We’re taking our own lives It’s true we’ll make a brighter day Just you and me“ Michael Jackson
Meditation
The technique is similar, as the other symbols Dai.
It deals with just your upper body. It does not matter if you are sitting in the Lotus position or sitting on a chair.
Take 3 deep cleansing breaths, in through your nose and out hard, through your mouth and visualise a bright light from heaven which, enters in through your Crown Chakra and flows through the body, hands and feet until it is finally comes out again.
During this meditation, awareness rises that one is in contact with the Universal Life Energy and that we are in a lifetime of change, and that we should prepare for a new era. So let us start; and meditate for 15 minutes.
I love you. I’m sorry. Please forgive me. I thank you.

In the world of holistic healing, Reiki has gained immense popularity for its ability to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Central to the practice of Reiki is the concept of energy, and one powerful technique that helps Reiki practitioners tap into this energy is Byosen Reikan Ho scanning. Byosen Reikan Ho scanning is a method used to identify areas of imbalance and blocked energy within the body, allowing the practitioner to focus their healing intentions and facilitate the flow of energy to promote healing. In this blog, we will delve a little into the intricacies of Byosen Reikan Ho scanning in Reiki and explore how it can unlock the key to harnessing the healing potential of energy.
If Byosen Reikan Ho is the Body and Aura Scanning or Intuitive (psychic) Sensing of Imbalances, then Byogen Chiryo Ho is the Finding the Root of a Problem.
Understanding the Concept of Energy in Reiki Healing
Before we dive deeper into the world of Byosen Reikan Ho scanning, it is essential to understand the fundamental concept of energy in Reiki healing. Reiki practitioners believe that energy, also known as qi, ki or chi, flows through the body, nourishing and sustaining it. However, when this energy becomes stagnant or blocked, it can lead to physical, emotional, and mental ailments. Byosen Reikan Ho scanning aims to identify these areas of stagnation or blockages, allowing the practitioner to direct healing energy to those specific areas and restore balance; this also affects our Chakras.
In Reiki, energy is not limited to the physical body but extends beyond it. It encompasses the Aura, Chakras, and Meridians, which are vital components of the body’s energy system. Byosen Reikan Ho scanning helps the practitioner detect imbalances in these energy fields, providing valuable insights into the underlying causes of a person’s health issues. By gaining a deeper understanding of energy and its flow, Reiki practitioners can better facilitate the healing process and support their clients in achieving optimal well-being. A Reiki Practitioner who has studied many varied Energy Healing modalities, will understand the Energy signatures of a healthy organ, a healthy body and so becomes more sensitive, more intuitive.
Let’s begin by teasing out a meaning of the words. Byosen Reikan Ho, a Japanese Reiki practice taught in Okuden Reiki Level II, is a phrase composed of five kanji:
病 Byo = illness, sickness
前 Sen = present, complete, uniform (there are other kanji for Sen, having meanings such as before, ahead, previous, future, precedence, gland)
靈 Rei = sacred, spirit, soul
感 Kan = impression, feeling, sensation, emotion
法 Ho = method, rule, model, system
A literal translation of the kanji would be ‘illness present sacred impression method.’ Since that translation doesn’t easily glide over the tongue, a simpler and more user friendly translation of Byosen Reikan Ho would be ‘method for sensing sacred impressions of an illness.’ Byosen is concerned with the ‘energetic sensation’ perceived at areas of dis-harmony or dis-ease.
Whenever there is a dis-ease, dis-harmony or dis-order in a person’s energetic makeup (whether or not the individual is aware of it) there will always be an accompanying ‘energetic sensation’, referred to as hibiki (‘resonance’) – providing one is aware of what to look for – and providing one has developed the necessary sensitivity skills to perceive it.
What does that actually mean?
Illness can be anything — a broken arm, stress, cancer, anger, attachments, ignorance, you name it. Impressions are what are known in Japanese as Hibiki, which means echo, reverberation, or sound. It is said that a seasoned practitioner can infer from the Hibiki the cause, current status, and amount of treatment required to heal the dis-ease. These impressions are sometimes referred to as intuition, which can be felt in your body, seen as a visual image, heard as a sound, or experienced in another kinaesthetic way. And, within the system of Reiki, the method is a hands-on method with the body.
Kan and Hibiki
Before proceeding further, let’s look at this idea of an impression (kan) as an echo (hibiki).
What is an echo? The scientific definition states that an echo is simply a reflection of sound or electromagnetic waves on an obstructing surface. Bringing that definition into the Byosen Reikan Ho practice, when we are doing a hands-on method over our client’s body, our hands are the obstructing surface that enable us to experience the energetic waves of the client’s illness.
However, everything we experience is filtered through our personal interpretations of how the world works and what is important to us.
These filters — which are defined by our society, where we grew up, what we learn from school, parents, our personal practice, etc.— are different from one person to another.
Allow me to explain the Byosen Reikan Ho levels:
A lesser known facet of Byosen Reikan Ho scanning is that it presents itself to the practitioner as different detectable levels; these levels are indicators of the degree of byosen present in physical and subtle bodies. Recognizing these levels during a Reiki treatment is a beneficial source of information.
These are presented here in order of increasing intensity. Most practitioners are familiar with the sensations but may not be aware of their significance during treatment.
Heat (the first level of sensation intensity) – The heat level is higher than normal during a Reiki treatment. This level indicates a certain accumulation of toxins.
Strong heat (second level) – The heat experienced by the practitioner may become uncomfortable and the palms may begin to sweat. This indicates a higher concentration of toxins.
Tingling (third level) – This can be experienced as a “needle” sensation or a buzzing sensation in the hands. It can also manifest as numbness or a “pull” sensation. This level indicates a more severe level of toxic accumulation.
Throbbing, cold (fourth level) – The practitioner may experience this level as a throbbing sensation in the hands, which may also become uncomfortable. The manifestation of the cold, as well as the strong pulsations, indicate that the affected part contains a substantial accumulation of toxic energy, probably due to an infection or an unresolved problem for a long time.
Pain (fifth level) – This refers to the pain felt in the hands and sometimes in other areas of the practitioner. The pain may be limited to the fingertips or fingers. However, it can also occur in the whole hand, wrist and arm up to the shoulder. This is, of course, the most severe level of byosen. When the practitioner feels pain, it is necessary to maintain the position of the hand and channel Reiki until the pain disappears, which indicates a decrease in byosen. The presence of pain is an energy signal and does not pose a threat to the practitioner’s health. However, if this sensation occurs, you can shake your hands two or three times. In my practice, I have experienced the sensation of pain sometimes during a treatment and I am always grateful for this unmistakable signal.
Dai Yōsha and Dai Kansha
Dai = The Great
Yōsha = Forgiveness
Kansha = Appreciation/Gratitude
“When we have learnt to practice Forgiveness, what follows, is a moment of nothingness, quietness and after a while of zero state, the Divine talks to you in form of inspiration. But before this can happen, we go through a phase of feeling lighter, elated, thankful. A weight has been lifted. Because you were able to let go, you have made room for something new, like hope, love, happiness, appreciation or gratitude to fill the void.” (Catherine W Dunne, Ireland 2016)
A few weeks ago, a gentleman rings to make an appointment. His wife had shared a blog I had written: Mixed Emotions . He felt inspired but didn’t know what type of treatment he actually wanted.
To continue with this story, let’s call him Christian. He is aged late 50s, early 60s. A few years back he had been involved in a multi car traffic accident, his car was written off, so were two other cars. Many badly injured, Christian was very lucky. His shock made him leave his mangled car and try to help others. Fact was, he should have not been physically able to do any of the First Aid. The driver who caused this accident was unharmed. His passenger, his brother though, spent the rest of his years in hospital care. The damage to his body was irreversible. The driver was elderly, and with his brother, had just been to visit their terminally ill sister. Christian is left with fused vertebras in his neck. So his range of movement in his neck is limited.
Christian was not sure why he came, just knew, after having read Mixed Emotions, that he had to. We chatted about this accident and how he felt then and today. Whilst chatting, I scanned his body. I started with assessing his Chakras. All fine, except his Heart Chakra: stopped. Then body brushing – Byosen Reikan Ho: Heaviness, imbalance and a buzzing sensation over his lungs.
TCM:
He has mild COPD, but this is not what I was sensing. Lungs: Familial. Did something happen in his childhood? Denied. We continue discussing all possibilities and I kept returning to this accident.
During my scanning and continued assessing, we were talking about Christian’s emotions after this car accident. What surfaced was his inability to control his anger-outbursts. As years went on, the anger and frustration grew within him.
Had Christian forgiven the driver?
“Yeah! Absolutely! Sure, … his sister was terminal, … and … his brother is permanently crushed and hospitalised as a result from this accident … his mind was not on the road …. His mind was occupied with his terminal sister… ”.
And still. I was drawn to this accident.
Suddenly, it was I who became overwhelmed, emotionally overwhelmed. Tearful, crying. I was still applying Healing. But there was a sense of Gratitude Dai Kansha, coming through. An energy. Not Christian’s.
Christian laid there, seeing my emotional outburst, and was confused.
Then I understood: The Driver. He was attached to Christian. He wanted to find a way to ask Christian for Dai Yōsha. Forgiveness.
With Byogen Chiryo Ho, Byosen Reikan Ho and focused energy healing – Reiki – Vibrational Therapy – Pendulum Therapy, we allowed the healing to come through. Christian immediately felt ‘lighter’. He hadn’t realised that what he was feeling in his body, the heaviness, the dreariness, his anger outbursts … had its root cause at the time of the accident. 12 years earlier.
Later that day, I received a WhatsApp message: “My wife says: I got that Spark is back in my Eyes….. Thank you for this healing journey. Thank you. I feel so much lighter.”

Most definitions of cancer broadly conform to the current NCI definition: “Cancer is a disease in which some of the body’s cells grow uncontrollably and spread to other parts of the body.”
By Dr Catherine W Dunne MSc. D. (Hon), Reiki Master (RGMT), M.H.I.T: Master Acupressure, Practitioner of Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Deep Tissue/Myo-fascia Massages, Infrared Treatments, Vibrational Sound and Colour Therapist, Tissue Salt Advisor, Pendulum Healing Dowser, Chakra Practitioner , Tao Cosmic Healing Practitioner, Practitioner of Plant and Herb Medicine and Nurse.
These definitions tend to describe what cancer “looks like” or “does” but do not describe what cancer “is” or “has become.”
Hi, and welcome to my today’s post. My intention is not to discuss the treatments for cancer. My intention is to discuss the “side-effects”; how the diagnosis and treatments affect the person, and why it is important to offer holistic approaches during those times.
I have a client who has breast cancer. The diagnosis, as expected, was a shock to the “system”-self and family and friends. Once the diagnosis and type was confirmed, everything has been and still is happening very fast. The more I think about this, the more I conclude, that because from time of diagnosis to treatment is a highspeed roller-coaster-ride, it is actually good that this happens so fast. If you are given too much time to think and dwell on the idea of having cancer, too many boxes filled with questions, cans of worms, are opened … and time is of the essence … how long would it be, before you’d make the decision this is “good” for you? Would it be too late?
She is a very optimistic person. With a Pharmaceutical background, she was aware of the chemical side-effects. But she decided to embrace it and face it full on. She started to look for holistic practitioners near her, having studied all the profiles, she was amazed to find someone less than 6 minutes up the road from her, and someone who is a practicing Medical Professional. This is Ireland.
From hereon in, I shall refer to her as Yvonne. I am protecting her identity.
Yvonne rings me one day asking for a Reiki session. I gave her an appointment. The following week we met for the first time. Yvonne explained her journey to me; how Breast Check had a cancellation and had rung her, asking if she was free that afternoon to attend … her planned appointment wasn’t due for another 5-6 weeks. This is October 2023. She works close by and agreed to go.
Yvonne is very spiritual. But more so secretively. She had a hunger to learn something along the holistic paths, not quite sure what though. Work is taxying. Very demanding. No longer satisfying. Yvonne had already looked into meditations, started reading up on the powers and benefits of crystals, before the call from Breast Check came, offering her a cancellation appointment.
Butterfly
Yvonne started her first chemo treatment at the start of December and had another before Christmas. Yvonne’s first visit to me was some time in November. She had done “her homework” in regards to Reiki and knew what to expect. The first 30 minutes we just talked about the diagnosis itself, how she felt about it, and her family … still sinking in … but determined not to allow cancer to get the better of her. I introduced myself to her, given her my background history. I explained that while Reiki is Energy Healing, with all the various types of Energy Healing under my belt, today it is difficult for me, JUST to do Reiki – in the traditional sense, I mean. I also explained that the terms “Healer” and “Therapist” when it comes to these type of therapeutic treatments have never sat well with me, and that I haven’t come across a term I like. And if you, the reader, are a Reiki Practitioner, you know we are not Healers, but Conductors. I explained I will start off today’s session as a typical Reiki session, but as I also do ByoSen, if I pick up something, I will give that part of the body my 100% attention. Was she happy with this? This first session was not long after the biopsy and was awaiting it’s result. Still sore.
My hands are very sensitive. I knew why she was here and knew what to expect in the chest area. I felt the cancer in her breast. I felt it large and strong (how big in size it actually was, I couldn’t tell you, but it’s EGO was large and strong!) What I hadn’t expected was the energy around her ovaries. Dark and hungry, is how I would describe this energy. Made me feel sick in my stomach. (Downside of being an Empath). I explained to Yvonne what I was picking up and that I did not believe the cancer to be in the ovaries, but the breast cancer is on the Mama gland pathway and so connected to the ovaries – energetically for now. I also explained, that for that session, I wanted to remove this energy from the ovaries and “retract” it and confine it only to the breast. But, this was Friday and next Friday was surgery and I wanted her back on Tuesday before that surgery. I felt this cancer to be strong minded and if not curtailed, would get a run … Yvonne agreed to return on Tuesday.
Just to give you an idea, the energy over her ovaries was palpable 3 feet above her abdomen. 3 feet up. I forced it down and away from her ovaries with great effort. Just as we were finishing up, something caught my attention. I looked around to see what it was … and there on the window was a butterfly, flying up and down the window inside the treatment room. I was surprised to see on and said out loud:” wow, there is a butterfly … ” and Yvonne, laid there, smiling at me and said: “I thought I had heard wings flapping … this is amazing! Too amazing to be a coincidence“. The question mark on my face must have been visible to her. Yvonne went on to explain, that earlier in 2023 a close friend of hers had died. A butterfly was with the coffin all the time. This friend was a great believer in butterflies.
Excerpt of the meaning of Butterflies in the spiritual sense:
Butterflies represent transformation, rebirth, freedom, and hope in different cultures and traditions. In many cultures also, butterflies symbolize the soul’s journey after death and the process of spiritual evolution.
When she returned on Tuesday, Yvonne told me she had told her friends about the butterfly and they couldn’t believe it either. Remember, it’s winter. Yvonne made herself comfortable on the treatment couch. I examined her and the energy was back over the ovaries, weak, but back. What happened next was a first for me. Yvonne felt it, I felt it and struggled at first with it. I managed to capture the cancer’s energetic body and forced it back on itself. I managed to “crack” this cancer’s large EGO. I felt sick to my stomach, heaving, but carried on. I was now down on my knees, holding on to this energy … no way on God’s given Earth was I letting go. AA Michael and Raphael were there and the Butterfly. The room flooded with an electric blue and I knew I was doing good. I was doing right. It felt like 30 minutes, and when all was completed, 1.5 hours had passed. This “big headed, ego driven” cancer now was no larger than a walnut. In 3 days she was having surgery. Mastectomy was last resort, if cancer, as per CT scan, really was that big. I texted Yvonne before Christmas, how did the surgery go? “All went well. All good. Surgeon surprised at size … was much much small that expected!” Brill! Merry Christmas, and I’ll see ya in January. C.
Chemotherapy
Eight rounds of Chemo, followed by 15 radiotherapies! Good Lord! That’s a lot of toxin the liver has to work through. Next week is round 6. Hair is starting to thin out after round two. Still in relatively good form and eager to learn all things to do with Complementary therapies. Round 3. Noticed the tiredness setting in. Yvonne informs me that she has great support from families and friends. Round 4. Viral infection. Cancelled. Round 4. Looking to get wig made, doing a lot of meditation, son is keeping her busy with school. She is actually taking the cancer now as a “sign” that she had to spend more time with son and help with school. Round 5. First Triple treatment. Was told will cause pins & needles to hands and feet, including numbness. If unable to send text messages, to report back. Needless to say, the whole worlds is texting her…. lol. Me too and offered her a wellness treatment on me. Round 6: next week.
For today, Easter Saturday, I gifted her a Wellness Session. A full body massage including facial, but at her request, left out head massage. 2 hours. Reflexology Hand and Foot massage. Lymphatic Drainage. Acupressure on sciatica. Aromatherapeutic back, neck and shoulder massage. Facial with massage. And all with homemade balms and creams and infused oils. Yvonne arrived and I seen her struggle. Her body clearly was aching all over. Hoovering hurts her. Gets triggered when asked “how ye doing?” “is there anything I can do for ye?“ Feeling very peri-menopausal. Hot flushes and then freezing cold. Moody. Forgetfulness. And now numbness in left foot. Pins & needles in toes and fingers. All the while she’s explaining her woes to me, I see a fragile person in front of me, who is putting on a brave face. And she only today “copped” the notion of what it means to be an Empath. Today came as a blessing to her. Today came at the right time for her. “How did you know I needed this?” … 2 hours later, she felt light like a feather. Her posture was straight and positive.
When Yvonne starts her radiotherapy, it’s Monday to Friday with weekends off for 3 weeks. This is in June. I won’t be able to give her face to face support, but will, between now and June, set up something for her, to draw on … and then there is always Distant healing, right?
Here in Ireland, Reiki in hospital setting is fit only for End Of Life … why? That is beyond me. Anybody going through cancer deserves better. Why can I not sit with her for those 3 hours of Chemo and offer Reiki and Reflexology? I may not even end up giving 3 hours to her, I may share myself to those in the same room as her. Reflexology, Foot and hand massage goes a long way, when you are feeling low, mood wise. You do not need to be an Empath to feel/see what’s needed. Look into your heart and see what you would like to have, when more or less living in “lockdown” scenarios during chemo~ and radiotherapy. Think about it: 8 sessions Chemo at fortnightly basis, pause, then 15 sessions Radiotherapy, Monday to Friday x 3 weeks.
Two more things I wish to highlight: 1) today I let the butterfly out and sat it on a dandelion. 2) I am not charging her.

Hi everyone. It’s been a while since my last post, but Life has been busy.
I want to share an experience I had today, during an Energy Healing Session. This gentleman, retired, came for a Reiki session. He had never had one before. As with all my clients, who come for the first Reiki, I explain what it is about and what it is I do, and what they may or may not experience.
Also, with all my clients, no matter what they come for, I do a Chakra Assessment. This gives me information about the body and what state it is in, followed by the Byosen.
He is a retired horticulturist and still does a lot of beautiful work in his garden. And so, knowing this, I was somewhat surprised that his Earth Chakra had stopped. Total disconnect. His Root and Sacral Chakras were perfect, and his Solar Plexus and Heart and Throat Chakras were stopped, his 3. Eye and Crown Chakras were turning, but in the wrong directions and his Soul Star Chakra was also motionless.
We had a little discussion about him being disconnected and surely he must be feeling imbalanced?
He admitted feeling imbalanced and thought this was linked to his tinnitus. He had once attended a colleague for an Acupuncture Session for his tinnitus and later a Physiotherapist for trapped sciatica and shoulder and neck tightness, but he continued to feel unbalanced. He denied any issues with his neck and despite gardening work being heavy at times, he denied any physical strain presently.
I preceded to Byosen and quickly was getting mixed energy vibes and spikes right across the abdominal area, upper and mid area and to his right flank. So I asked him if he had any chronic infection/illness with his liver. But something inside told me, here are two different emotions in one body. I was confused. The liver felt hard, energetically that is, while the rest of the body, despite Energy Centres being out of synch, felt soft, sad, but soft and a little tired. His liver made no sense to me. One thing I never done today, shame on me, was give him a questionnaire to complete prior to session. In hindsight probably the best thing I’ve ever done.
While hundreds of possibilities were still running through my head, putting on my “nurse’s think cap” … he looks at me and quietly says: “Oh, I must have forgotten to mention that I am an Organ Transplant Recipient. I got a new liver six years ago.”
I stood there somewhat stunned.
Don’t get me wrong, I see many patients coming into the surgery who have had an organ transplant, but when I am working in the function as a nurse, I am not in the habit of “feeling their auras”. I very seldom mix my professions. Well, seldom in my “day job” as a nurse.
So the liver of a stranger … it is hard with anger. Raging anger. So angry it stopped the Solar Plexus. What did he know about the “owner”? Male, female? Male. Ok. Age? “No. I wasn’t given any more information, just that he had died in a car accident.” I guess that leave a multitude of possibilities open to ponder on. So we created a scenario to help him understand what I was feeling.
Let us say, the “owner” of this liver was a 30-35 year old man, who recently experienced so emotionally tripping, that he raced out in anger … got into his car … raced off … blind to his surroundings … boom. Accident happens and he dies. Life was ripped from his body so sudden. He died with all that agro, anger, fire in his belly. He was so angry; his blood was boiling.
Every Chakra is a Recordkeeper. Every Chakra is connected to organs. Each organ to connected to neighbouring organ, exchanging information via the Meridians and back to the Chakra, also via Meridian and this Chakra to it’s neighbouring Chakra and into the two main Meridian Vessels: Conceptional and Governing.
When any living creature is about to die, either because of illness or old age, the body and Soul is preparing for this day. But in a dramatic event such as an accident, the Soul is ripped out of the vessel we know as the body.
Chakras as Recordkeepers. Each organ has its own Chakra – a minor chakra. Now this organ is being transplanted into another vessel, another body, another strange body, with strange Chakras, strange energies … What just happened? The hospital will now, if you are an organ recipient, place you on life long anti-organ-rejection medications. These affect your immune system. You become an “easy target” for all things virus and bacteria based.
In the human body we have two major organs and one major gland responsible for our healthy immune system. The organs are Liver and Spleen, the gland is the Thymus. The liver is our filter, cleansing our blood, the spleen also, like our bone marrow, produces blood cells but also fighter soldiers – the white cells. Thymus Gland the T-Cells. (I did write an article here about the Thymus Gland, go and have a look Thymus and the significance of T-cells.
The Thymus is home in the Heart Chakra. The Thymus, when healthy, is roughly the size of your hand, leathery, and would remind you of the lotus flower. If sick, or under a lot of pressure because of illness or medications or profound grief, it shrivels up to a hard walnut in size and shape. How do we know this? Well, many many many moons ago, Medical Physicians were also Pathologists. They were studying what make the human be alive and what caused death, and what changes in death. While in Ayurveda and TCM it was long understood, in the younger medicine, the Western School Medicine however, was baffled why this was so. Why had some dead a “walnut” and other a soft leathery lotus in center of their chest? I am sure you will have heard of the saying: Somebody having died of a broken heart. These people, for example, have a “walnut” next to their heart.
Today’s gentleman’s Heart Chakra was motionless. It stands to reason that his Thymus was shut down, shrivelled up, but not because of grief, and not because of illness, but because of his anti-organ-rejection prescription. It is so strong, it overwhelms the Thymus, hence one becomes Immunocompromised.
As I was explaining this to him, I could see his mind going into overdrive. He then asks me: “if the Thymus Gland is healthy, how do I feel, apart from healthy. Are there any tell-tale signs that my body is healthy or happy”? Good question.
I explained that when the Thymus opens up or opens further or simply is “happy” to be at its optimum, we experience it as a ‘flutter’. Because we have a different upbringing and teaching about our body compared to those with Native Nations, Ayurvedic and TCM knowledge, who are more in tune with themselves and Nature, we are not taught this and so, mentioning this to a doctor, you end up with ECG and possibly an ECHO, only to be told, all is normal. Medical Disclaimer: A flutter can also be caused from the heart and usually is accompanied by other symptoms. It is always best to have that ECG done and +/- followed-up by an ECHO.
As he was listening he had an “AHA” moment. He told me he had had this flutter once and he was sent in to hospital, had that ECG and ECHO and all was very satisfactory. He has had it again in the past, but never mentioned to doctor again. This was prior to organ transplant.
His Throat Chakra was blocked because of the either a herniated disc in his neck or tense neck and shoulder muscles that have trapped a nerve, maybe the vagus nerve or some minor blood vessels or other unknown reasons.
With all this knew found knowledge, he agreed for me to focus the Energy Healing on his liver.
While we know the organ donor was male and was in an accident, we don’t know what caused the anger and rage and how long he was carrying this rage within, prior to the fatal moment.
This liver was energetically very active. It felt me as a threat and kept “shooting energy darts” at my hand. At this point I decided to give it some 528Hz frequency with my tuning fork. After a few minutes Mr Liver started to back down. I sent him my focused intensions expressing Gratitude for being here today and allowing this gentleman to have a second chance in life, to live. I asked Mr Liver for Forgiveness. To forgive the person who triggered the anger emotion in the previous “host” and to forgive his former “host” for having been so angry and hold that rage. I asked My Liver to let go of these emotions. As they no longer serve a purpose. He was in a new “host” and this new “host” is so thankful for a second chance to live, all he wants, is that they both continue to live in harmony.
I then started my Reiki Session.
I asked this gentleman what colour he was giving his, this liver now – yellow, and which colour would he like it to be? Blue. I gave instructions to breathe Blue into his liver and exhale Yellow out and to continue to do this until the outbreath matches in the inbreath. This was all I was asking him to do, while I work on the rest.
Walking around him, placing hands, conducting Universal Energy to him, I finally arrived at Mr Liver. This time he was more welcoming to me and allowed me to help him, quite successfully. I continued to work my usual, checked the gentleman’s chakras again, Earth Chakra was slow to get started, but it did, Solar Plexus and Heart Chakras were doing great. Throat Chakra needed a little more persuading, but it too, started up and this, this gentleman felt, he reports.
All was good again.
What was the connection to the Earth Chakra? Memories. Mr Liver’s perceived memories. Burial. Underground. Mr Liver associated “Grounding” with going under the ground. This too, I shown Mr Liver, that this is not the meaning, today.
To conclude this, I learnt some new things today. I am grateful for this experience of how a donated organ resonates in the recipient’s body. At the start of today’s session, there was Mixed Emotions. At the end of this session, there was only one: Gratitude.
Grandmaster … what is a Grandmaster supposed to know or do? Can you only be a Grandmaster of one Modality and not another, despite being similar in nature?
In the run up to Easter, I had a week off work and whilst “pottering around”, getting house ready for Easter … I spent time on this exact question.
Let’s take the most popular Modality, one that EVERYBODY is now doing and feel the need to achieve everything yesterday: Reiki. And yes, I am a Master/Teacher in Reiki, and I have been continuously studying and practicing Reiki since my first attunement in 1983. I “only” achieved my Master /Teacher status in 2014.
And while many associations never accepted me teaching Reiki online My Way and long before Covid Lockdowns, I find it quite astonishing, how these so-called Reiki Institutes can change their minds, right? By the way, my way of online studying, you had to, and still have to work hard for it. It takes weeks. Feedbacks and more. You don’t achieve your title from me within hours of you having read the PDF and accepting a Chi Ball like many do and those who bought in to it, wonder why it isn’t working out how they had imagined. But this is a subject for another blog … 😉
So my question is: Can one be a Grandmaster and if so, can one be on of a generic term/title/subject?
What I am trying to ask here, take me for example: I have been doing energy work since my teens. I started with a Pendulum and over the years became proficient with them. Since my teens, I have also had a huge interest in Chakras and so studied them, having read many books and through Reiki. Today, I combine Reiki with Chakras by using my Pendulum. Studied Touch for Health – Dr John Thiel and Cosmic Healing – Mantal Chia (Master). When studying Chakras and Cosmic Healing and Daoism and Touch for Health and Reiki, Prana … you soon discover, each corner of the world has the similar Healing Modality, just called different. Who taught whom, if at all, may be questionable, but I guess Jesus was THE Great Grandmaster in Energy Healing. Herbalism, Essential Oils, homeopathy, Sound Therapy, Colour Therapy, applied pressure therapies such as Reflexology and Acupressure and Meridian manipulation by Acupuncture, and not forgetting the most multi-modalities under TCM and Ayurveda, to me are all Energy Healing Modalities. How the harnessed energy is applied to the client – as long as you don’t use your own – in the broader term is irrelevant, but relevant to the treatment required and applied for this client, at this moment, and the reason for treatment.
What is expected of a Grandmaster of Energy Healing Systems, if such a term should really exist? – to know everything? – to teach one or more modalities? – be always available, not just to clients but to current and former students?
If you are a Master/Teacher of Reiki = Rei = Universal Energy and Ki (Chi/Qi) = Life Force and a Master in Chakra Treatment, Pendulum (Frequency) for Healing, Acupressure, Crystal Therapy, a frequent Practitioner of Dao Cosmic Healing, Kinesiology, Reflexology, Sound (Vibrational) and Colour (Frequency) Therapy, and even Massages … does this make you an overall Master or Grandmaster of Energy Healing Systems? I’d like to think the latter, but I am open to suggestions. Let’s discuss this.
I am also the author of Reiki 19 & 20 of the Reiki Grandmaster Series (non-traditional). Those two symbols and attunements came to me as I was studying Ho’oponopono. There you go, another Energy Healing System I had forgotten to mention above. But during my annual leave and pondering on the Grandmaster concept, another symbol came to me. But this one is different all together. It is not a symbol to be attuned to. If you are truly a Master in your multi-modalities and apply several during your healing session in combination for several years, I believe you are “given” your symbol. Like a Name. It is YOURS and YOURS alone. When I started to apply this symbol at the start of my Reiki Sessions, not only have I felt the energy flow through me and not only does the client’s body “speak to me” loud and clear, but the client also describes an energy moving through them, like never felt before. And they would have come to me in the past.
So my conclusion is that if you “rush” learning weekend workshop/online pdf Reiki, just to get the certificate for Reiki 1 & 2 and then after 21 days pick up Reiki 3&4 (4 doesn’t really exist but in modern times, Reiki Master/Teacher = 3a and 3b = the setting up of business … you go figure), just so that you can be called RMT, you have not learnt a whole lot! Where is your gained knowledge coming from? What experiences have you gained? Have you discovered subtle energy feedbacks from your client? Have you found a common energy pulse each human organ emits? Can you feel the energy of a sick organ before the client knows about this organ being unwell? What has a Reiki Master Teacher learnt to have earnt that title within a space of what, 6 weeks? I rest my case.
I have gained many experiences, certificates, and diplomas of various energy healing modalities over the past 38 years. I would like to think, I have earned the Title Master/Teacher of Energy Healing Systems, whilst being a RMT.

Thymus and the significance of T-cells and Covid-19
It is fascinating to learn that scientists are now regarding the emerging discovery of T-Cells as equally important to antibodies in the fight against Covid-19.
SCIENCE
Your thymus is a small gland in the lymphatic system that makes, and trains special white blood cells called T-cells. The T-cells help your immune system fight disease and infection. Your thymus gland produces most of your T-cells before birth. The rest are made in childhood, and you’ll have all the T-cells you need for life by the time you hit puberty.
What is the thymus?
The thymus is a small gland that’s part of your lymphatic system. Your lymphatic system is made up of a network of tissues, vessels, and organs such as your tonsils, spleen, and appendix. Your lymphatic system is a part of your immune system. It helps defend against infection and disease.
What does the thymus do?
The primary function of the thymus gland is to train special white blood cells called T-lymphocytes or T-cells. White blood cells (lymphocytes) travel from your bone marrow to your thymus. The lymphocytes mature and become specialized T-cells in your thymus.
After the T-cells have matured, they enter your bloodstream. They travel to your lymph nodes (groups of cells) and other organs in your lymphatic system, where they help your immune system fight disease and infection.
Your thymus gland is also part of your endocrine system. Your endocrine system makes and releases hormones that control the functions of your body. Your thymus produces and releases several hormones including:
Thymopoietin: fuels the production of T-cells and tells the pituitary gland to release hormones.
Thymosin and thymulin: help make specialized types of T-cells.
Thymic humoral factor: keeps your immune system working properly.
During what age is the thymus gland most active?
The thymus gland is most active during childhood. Your thymus actually starts making T-cells before you’re born. It keeps producing T-cells and you have all the T-cells you need by the time you reach puberty. After puberty, your thymus gland slowly starts to decrease in size and is replaced by fat.
ANATOMY
Where is the thymus located?
The location of your thymus gland is in your upper chest behind your breastbone (sternum). It sits between your lungs in a part of your chest called the mediastinum. Your thymus is just in front of and above your heart.
What does the thymus gland look like?
The thymus gland is pinkish grey. It is made up of two irregularly shaped parts (lobes). The lobes have lots of small bumps called lobules on the surface.
How big is the thymus gland?
The thymus gland is quite big in babies and children. It reaches its biggest weight of about 1 ounce during puberty. After puberty, it begins to shrink, and in older adults, it’s rather small.
CONDITIONS AND DISORDERS
There are disorders that can affect the thymus gland, but this is not the place to be listing them.
Many conditions and disorders can affect your thymus gland. The issues range from genetic disorders present at birth to diseases most commonly seen in adults.
Does this sacred gland hold the secret to overcoming Covid-19?
T-cells: the missing link in coronavirus immunity?
Scientists who have spent months focused on the role of antibodies in fighting Covid-19 are beginning to suspect that a lesser known part of the immune system is equally crucial: T-cells. Evidence is emerging that T-cells, which can “remember” past infections and kill pathogens if they reappear, have a big influence on how long patients remain resistant to reinfection by Covid-19. The cells, whose size and complexity dwarf tiny antibodies, also appear to affect how well vaccines work and even the level of immunity in the community required to suppress new waves of disease. “Antibodies do look slightly precarious and transient in the blood, while there is a lot of evidence that T-cells are long lasting,” said Mala Maini, professor of viral immunology at University College London. People who recovered from Sars, the disease most closely related to Covid-19, in 2003 still show cellular immunity to that coronavirus 17 years later. T-cells, which circulate in the blood, might protect people who have been infected and recovered from the new coronavirus but have no detectable antibodies shortly thereafter.
Immunity to any infection arises from a complicated interplay of different cells and proteins such as antibodies, which are produced in various human tissues. Some are designed to recognise invading germs. Others have the job of destroying them. T-cells come in several different types, including killer T-cells, helper T-cells and memory T-cells. Then there are B-cells — another essential category of white blood cell. Among other roles B-cells are the immune system’s antibody factories. Al Edwards, associate professor at Reading University’s School of Pharmacy, offers an analogy. “T-cells are tasting the virus whereas the antibodies are feeling the virus,” he said. “T-cells can promote antibody responses and antibody responses can promote a T-cell response. These two systems work together.” “Even if you’re left with no detectable circulating antibodies, that doesn’t necessarily mean you have no protective immunity, because you are likely to have memory immune cells (B and T cells) that can rapidly kick into action to start up a new immune response if you re-encounter the virus,” added Prof Maini of UCL. “So you might well get a milder infection.”
Holistic Healthcare – TCM
T-Cells are produced in a small gland called the thymus, which sits just above the breastbone, on top of the heart. From the Western medical perspective, the thymus gland is linked to our lymphatic and immune systems, helping us to fight infection. It is especially active during childhood and then starts to deteriorate after adolescence. The thymus gland is also an important centre in the body’s meridian system, mapped out in ancient Chinese medicine, and the chakra energy centres in the subtle body.
The location of the thymus is also significant. It is positioned within the heart meridian, as well as the lesser-known higher heart chakra, representing the transpersonal aspect of the heart, unconditional divine love and compassion. It is therefore unsurprising that the thymus can hold a lifetime’s worth of unprocessed emotions such as anxiety, sadness, and grief, stuck in layers of the physical and energetic body and affecting our vibrational frequency.
Our ancestors knew the innate intelligence and wisdom of the sacred thymus! The ancient Chinese, Indian yogic, Egyptian, and Mayan traditions all recognised that to open our thymus is to open and infuse our lives with forgiveness, love, and compassion. For this reason, many of them performed special healing techniques and ceremonies to activate the thymus.
Thymus self-care is particularly important and potent at a time when the fear response is on high alert, and we encourage you to cleanse this energetic centre to optimise its function and stimulate the production of T-Cells.
The thymus is very sensitive to both positive and negative sounds, and sound therapy can help to restore balance to your chakra.
There are also a few simple practices that you can try at home to stimulate the flow of energy, move through blockages, and bring about harmony and equilibrium:
If you have a singing bowl at home you can try lying down, placing the bowl directly on to your body and simply allowing the acoustic vibrations to move through your sternum.
Practice Qigong
Try tapping on your energy meridians, particularly those directly under your collar bones (tip: these spots will probably feel sore if you press into them).
Thymus patting/tapping: Using your fingertips or side of your fist, tap up and down and counter-clockwise, about 2-3 inches along your sternum, between and above your breasts. The thymus is located behind the third rib, but any vibrations along the length of the upper sternum will stimulate it. Do this for 15-20 seconds and continue to take regular slow breaths. Do 1-3 times a day or up to 4 during times of acute illness. It can be all you need to ward off a cold or illness as the thymus is stimulated to release all those infections fighting white blood cells.
Thymus and Heart Chakra
The Heart Chakra has been referred as the seat of the soul. The Heart Chakra represents unconditional Divine Love. Unconditional love is free of ego; therefore a healthy higher heart facilitates spiritual growth and deep inner transformation.
Opening our thymus chakra enhances our willingness to forgive and to show compassion. Unlocking it corresponds to flinging open a window for your soul to work through in the material world. Often, people who get in touch with their ascended heart will desire to hand its gifts on to others because, as receptacles of divine love, they also feel it flowing from them like water from a spring.
In our everyday lives we can connect to our heart, through sound through music, it reminds us of past love, events, memories, and moments that have captured our soul.
So, for a thriving thymus chakra, listen to music, sing like nobody is hearing, dance like nobody is watching or play a musical instrument.
In my Energy Healing treatments I hold space for healing, I use the divine universal energy to restore depleted energy in my clients and restore vitality to each Chakra. It’s possible to dissolve blockages and become aligned once again with your true self.
As you may know by now, my passion are the Chakras. There is so much to them that still have not yet been discovered. Many of you are aware of vibrational medicine. For those of you not familiar with this, Vibrational Medicine is not just Sound Frequency therapy. Everything around us is Energy. To quote Einstein, as I do in many of my online courses:
ENERGY = VIBRATION + FREQUENCY
Sound, colour, perfume, flavours, toxicity, potency, cells, matter, liquid, light, magnetism, air, living, dead, ….. all are a form of Energy.
Plants have been used as medicines for thousands of years to cure various ailments, gain wisdom and to help us connect with nature. There are scripts from 2500 BC about various plants and their healing properties. In India, there are several Vedas that mention about treating diseases using herbs and plants. Plants have vibrational frequency that is in tune with our body and psyche. These vibrational qualities of plants can assist in balancing, healing and energizing the seven major chakras. The components of herbs interact with our energy system and remove toxic elements from our blood, enhance blood circulation and regulate the flow of oxygen. If one uses the herbs appropriately, one can maintain a balanced state of mind, body and spirit, Here are some of the common herbs associated with the seven chakras –
First Chakra – Root Chakra – Dandelion Roots
Root Chakra is located at the base of the spine. It connects us to the earth because that is where we receive all of the vital nutrients essential to our survival, and it is also where body toxins are released. The root chakra doesn’t just ground us physically, it also grounds us temporally by keeping us in the present moment. An imbalanced root chakra can lead to problems in the legs, feet, rectum, tailbone, immune system, depression, autoimmune deficiencies. Dandelion root tea are found to be highly effective in the treatment of depression, gallbladder, or high blood pressure. Adding in foods like: carrots, potatoes, parsnips, radishes, onions and garlic, and anything else that roots itself, can have a soothing effect for our root chakra.
Second Chakra – Sacral Chakra – Gardenia flowers
Sacral Chakra is located below the navel near the abdomen between the ovaries for women and near the prostate gland for men. The fundamental quality of this chakra is pure creativity, attention, sensual expression, unencumbered by the ego. When this Chakra is blocked it can lead to eating disorders, urinary tract problems, reproductive disorders, occasional headache, fever, and emotional imbalances. Calendula is an easy to grow herb that enhances your creativity in all areas of life. Another herb which is highly beneficial for the sacral chakra is Gardenia. One can put Gardenia roots and oil to multiple use, and its flowers are found to be very soothing for the senses as well, no wonder it’s also known as the happiness herb. Sandalwood helps in curing many kinds of infection as it instigates new cell growth. You can apply sandalwood oil on your body before taking a shower or you can use it to create a good aroma in your house. Other herbs & spices that are beneficial are Coriander, fennel, liquorice, cinnamon, vanilla, carob, sweet paprika, sesame seeds, caraway seeds.
Third Chakra – Solar Plexus – Rosemary Leaves
The 3rd chakra or the solar plexus chakra is the power centre of emotions and positive self-control. If this chakra is blocked we tend to feel unworthy and have a low self-esteem. Our emotional state is one of depression and anxiety. We tend to be doubtful and mistrusting toward others. This can lead to a plethora of physical problems: poor digestion, ulcers, diabetes, liver or kidney problems, anorexia, bulimia, and even intestinal tumours. To unblock the energy flow, one can use lavender, bergamot, or rosemary oil. Bergamot is great for the digestive system as it quickens the procedure of digestion causing less strain to the intestinal tract. In Mediterranean region, people consider rosemary as an essential herb for the stomach and intestines. One can put rosemary leaves in several dishes, or you can use rosemary oil to cook dishes. Marshmallow too relaxes the third chakra and softens our efforts to control life. It helps you to relax your diaphragm and reconnect to our breath. Other useful herbs & spices are Anise, celery, cinnamon, lily of the valley, mints, ginger, mints (peppermint, spearmint, etc.), melissa, turmeric, cumin, fennel.
Fourth Chakra – Heart Chakra – Hawthorne Berries
Heart Chakra is the centre of love, compassion, and forgiveness of our body’s energy system. When this chakra is blocked, we tend to feel disconnected and have trouble loving ourselves and others. We tend to experience poor circulation on the physical level, lack empathy on the emotional level, and lack devotion on the spiritual level. Many issues of love, grief, hatred, anger, jealousy, fears of betrayal, of loneliness, as well as the ability to heal ourselves, and others are centered in the fourth chakra. A tea or tincture of Hawthorne berries increases trust in the process of life and encourages you to feel safe following your heart. It also helps to strengthen the heart and blood vessels. You can also use Cayenne, jasmine, lavender, marjoram, rose, basil, sage, thyme, cilantro, parsley for a healthy heart.
Fifth Chakra – Throat Chakra – Red Clover Blossom
Throat chakra is largely responsible for self-expression and communication. When this chakra is clear our speech becomes uplifting, wise and we can communicate our intent clearly. An unbalanced throat chakra leads to thyroid problems, laryngitis on the physical level, co-dependency on the emotional level, unclear thoughts on the mental level, and insecurity on the spiritual level. We often speak without thinking and have trouble expressing ourselves in an authentic way. It is also responsible for nervousness, fear, and anxiety. Red clover blossoms assist in allowing a free flow of communication and self-expression. A cup of red clover tea can unlock the emotions and thoughts that are waiting to be spoken. Research conducted by the University of Maryland Medical Centre, shows that lemon balm is capable of healing several ailments including thyroid. Eucalyptus oil is another beneficial oil for decongestion, simply rubbing few drops of oil on the throat will help. Other herbs & spices that can help with the throat chakra is Coltsfoot, peppermint, sage, salt, and lemon grass.
Sixth Chakra – Third Eye Chakra – Eyebright Flowers
Sixth Chakra or the Third Eye is associated with intuition and the pineal gland. Eyebright When this chakra is blocked we tend to lack in imagination and intuition resulting in poor decision making and self-deception. Physically, third eye weakness may manifest as eye/ear problems, headaches, migraines, insomnia, or even nightmares. Mint, jasmine, and eyebright are herbs used to open the sixth chakra. Eyebright helps to see both the light and dark sides as part of the whole and is also used to cure eye problems. Mint has been found useful in curing depression, migraines, and memory loss. It also increases connectedness between mind and body. These are the herbs & spices that can energize and heal any imbalances in the third eye chakra, Juniper, mugwort, poppy, rosemary, lavender, and poppy seed.
Seventh Chakra – Crown Chakra – Lotus
The Crown Chakra connects us to the universal divine energy. This chakra is associated with wisdom, enlightenment, and transcendence. When our crown chakra is cleansed and open we experience divine union and cosmic love, stretching out forever. Our unique frequency is in tune with the cosmic orchestra. When our crown chakra is blocked or closed we feel disconnected spiritually, as though we are living without any direction or purpose. On a physical level, it can lead to depression, nervous system disorders, migraines, amnesia, ADD, dyslexia, and in the most extreme cases cognitive delusions and mental illness. Lavender flowers and lotus assist in opening your seventh chakra. Lavender brings you into alignment with divine wisdom on a daily basis and is a popular herb for enhancing meditation. While lotus leaves and stems are widely used in Japanese and Chinese cuisine, and each part has its own set of benefits. Lavender is your best bet because it works well on all the chakras. You can include plants in your life through taking herbs internally in the form of tea, or externally as a bath or aromatherapy, you can enhance the benefits by consciously connecting with their vibrational qualities.
Hope you enjoy this little “nugget” of information.
As mentioned above, I teach online courses. I have a very detailed courses, maybe too detailed…. 😉 Chakra – Energy Healing In this one you would begin this journey by studying the 7 Major Chakras in our body. Exploring the causes of blockages, hyperactivities and their effects on us. Students will learn how Essential Oils and Foods benefit the Chakra, learn about the maintenance and balancing of our Chakras by uses of Yoga. Moreover, students will challenge their own perceptions about the causes of illness and what it takes to heal. Armed with this understanding, students will begin to interact with the energetic system of the body to understand how to read, interpret, and heal illness.
I teach this via the facebook “classrooms”, something, we the teacher of Aumvedas Academy, have been doing since 2016.
Thank you for taking the time to read my blog. I do appreciate your feedbacks. Until my next blog, enjoy your week.
